The Santa Ana Historical Preservation Society presented our 3rd Annual Historical Cemetery Tour of Santa Ana Cemetery and Fairhaven Memorial Park,
on Saturday, October 21, 2000 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This family-style historical walking tour featured costumed actors portraying colorful men and women who shaped the destiny of Orange County from the late 1800’s to WWI.
The 1 ½ hour guided tour began at Fairhaven Chapel, where fascinating stories of early politicians, actors, Civil War veterans, ranchers and aviators
unfolded as visitors strolled through the lush greenery of Santa Ana and Fairhaven Cemeteries.
Proceeds benefited the preservation activities of the Santa Ana Historical Preservation Society, including the maintenance of the Dr. Howe-Waffle House property. This event
was sponsored through the generosity of Fairhaven Memorial Park and Funeria Latina Familiar.
