The Society’s annual historic cemetery tour has won a coveted Governor’s Award from the California Office of Historic Preservation. The award was presented to tour co-chairman and long-time SAHPS board officer Roberta Reed at a special awards ceremony held at the historic and beautifully-restored Leland Stanford Mansion in Sacramento.  Tour co-chair Alison Young, also SAHPS president was unable to attend the ceremony.
