Special Note: Our Downtown Architectural walking tours are available on the first Saturday of each month -- only by reservation at least 2 days in advance.  Do not show up without reservation.  (Our volunteer tour guide will only be there if prior reservations are made.)  This is a 2 to 3 hour tour of downtown beginning at about 2:30 pm.  Call 714 547-9645 in advance.  Leave your name and phone number. Our tour guide will contact you to confirm the reservation..

Join us for an information-filled tour of historic downtown Santa Ana and learn more about our city. These first Saturday tours are a perfect prelude to the arts openings at the downtown Artist Village on the same evenings.

Docents will lead small groups to view the exteriors of many of Santa Ana's most interesting old buildings, including the Old Orange County Courthouse, the Masonic Temple Building, old City Hall, the Spurgeon Building, and the Santora Building.

Tours will start at the Dr. Willella Howe-Waffle House at 2:30 pm. Groups are limited to 20 people each. Reservations are highly recommended.  The cost is $8 per person and includes a beautifully detailed map of the historic downtown area.

Call the Society at 714 547-9645 at least 2-4 days in advance to confirm your reservation.  Be sure to give us your name, number in party, phone numbers, and date you would like to tour.

Read this article from the LA Times about the tour.
