Not a ghost walk but an easy interpretive hike with frequent stops to identify plants that provided food, medicine and materials for indigenous people and habitat for wildlife. Hear stories about homesteaders, miners, Native Americans, ranchers and other colorful characters from OC's past.

Where do we meet?
The trail begins at the Black Star Canyon Trailhead 13333 Black Star Canyon Rd. From Santiago Canyon Road, take Silverado Canyon Road. The first left is Black Star Canyon. This road ends at a gate, with ample free parking along the sides of the road. DO NOT ARRIVE LATE. We cannot delay the tour for latecomers so please give yourself plenty of drive time.
What to bring?
Please bring a printed copy of your ticket or be ready to show it from your smartphone to the tour guide upon arrival.
